WW2 Kaufman Gas Mask With Barringer, Wallis & Manners Cannister. Dated 1941.

A WW2 gas mask kit including a Kaufman mask, breathing tube and cannister by Barringer, Wallis & Manners.
The material-covered mask itself is complete with all lenses, straps and fittings intact. There is some perishing to the rubber edges and the unit to the back connecting all the straps is quite brittle but remains intact. The mask is stamped Kaufman and is dated 1941.
The material-covered breathing tube and attachments are in remarkably good condition.
The metal cannister has it's original paint with some slight wear. The cannister top is stamped "B.W.&M. Ltd." (Barringer, Wallis & Manners) with a military broad arrow.
The cannister base is marked "No. 4A" with "B.W.&M." and is dated 1941.
