In good, uncleaned condition.  Engraved to the rim : "R.M.A. 10235 H.VASE. GNR. R.M.A."  Includes copies of documents and paperwork for Herbert Vase (please see images).

This medal is a British military award recognizing long, continuous, and exemplary service in the Royal Navy.  It was originally instituted in 1830.

Eligibility typically requires a minimum of 15 years of irreproachable service

The obverse depicts a bust of George V.  The reverse features a representation of HMS Victory surrounded by the inscription "For Long Service and Good Conduct"
