A scarce, original First World War period 1914 Princess Mary Gift Fund bullet pencil ; the brass case engraved with Princess Mary's Cypher and stamped to the base with War Department broad arrow 'RL 08 VI', complete with 'Sterling Silver' bullet head and lead pencil. Very good condition. Unpolished and unmolested. These fine quality silver pencils were made by 'Asprey London' and given by Princess Mary as a gift to the Soldiers and Sailors fighting for King and Country, Christmas 1914.
