A platinum, sapphire and diamond flowerhead cluster ring by William Edward Ginder. Set with a circular mixed-cut sapphire surrounded by 10 eight-cut diamonds on geometric shoulders. Hallmarks to the inside of the band with the platinum "orb", Birmingham "anchor" and date letter "B" for 1976. Maker's stamp "W.E.G.". The ring was assessed by a prominent Cape Town jeweler who confirmed it's authenticity. Please see images above for more detail.
