A vintage Tootsietoy space toy gun, likely from the 1980s or 1990s. It has a futuristic, sci-fi appearance, typical of space-themed toys. The exaggerated mechanical detailing, vents, rivets, and complex surface textures give it a "space blaster" aesthetic, reminiscent of props from classic science fiction movies or classic video games such as "Doom". The colour scheme is primarily silver with black and red accents. The front barrel is silver with a bright red muzzle cap, a common feature to distinguish toy guns from real firearms. It appears to be made of molded plastic. Tootsietoy was known for durable, affordable toy guns, often battery-powered or sound-producing. The ergonomic black and grey grip with a red trigger area indicates that it may have featured sound or light effects, typical of electronic toy blasters from that era. The battery pack is in the form of a magazine. Please note that the electronic functionality is untested.
