A rare antique hallmarked silver South African presentation fob medal. Displays a highly detailed football-themed obverse with the reverse engraved "PRETORIA SAR SPORTS / 1914 / Senior 5 a Side Tournament RUNNERS UP". Bears the hallmarks for Birmingham, 1911 and maker's stamp for William James Dingley. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but remain visible.
Berea Park F.C. was a South African football club based in Pretoria. In the 1940's they participated in the Transvaal First Division. They were previously known as Pretoria South African Railway until their name change in 1935.
