WW2 Italian M1891 Carcano Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog.

A WW2 Baionetta Modello 1891 Mannlicher-Crcano by Terni. This bayonet was designed for use on the 6.5mm Mannlicher-Carcano Modello 1891 bolt action infantry rifle, which was the standard rifle used by the Italian armed forces in both World Wars. The drop-forged blade features a single fuller, single edge, spear point tip and partial tang. Maker's stamp to the ricasso and serial number DG1600 to the crossguard. The spring-loaded push button is functional. Included are the original leather scabbard and a rare leather frog (belt holster). The steel scabbard cap shows some wear but remains intact. Overall a very good and complete set.
