The 1935-1936 Italian "Africa Orientale" (East Africa) Medal is a bronze decoration established in 1936 by King Victor Emmanuel III for military and civilian personnel involved in the Second Italo-Ethiopian War. It honors the invasion and occupation of Ethiopia, featuring the King's bust on the obverse and an African landscape on the reverse with the phrase "MOLTI NEMICI. MOLTO ONORE" (Many enemies, much honor).
