Edwardian All Solid Silver Miniature Glove Hook Pendant. Adie & Lovekin, Birmingham.

A rare early 20th Century solid sterling silver miniature glove hook.  This would have born worn on a Victorian or Edwardian lady's chatelaine for buttoning her gloves.  Both shaft and handle are solid silver. The shaft bears the maker's stamp for Adie & Lovekin.

The hallmarks are somewhat rubbed from use but there is enough to see the Birmingham "anchor".  Upon close inspection, it is my opinion that the date letter is an "f" which dates it to 1905. Condition is good with the original suspender ring present so could make a lovely, unusual pendant. Please view images above for more detail.
