1915-1918 Italo-Austrian War Medal.

This campaign medal was awarded by the Kingdom of Italy to those who participated in World War I. It was instituted on July 29, 1920, and granted to soldiers and other personnel who served for at least four months in a war zone under the Italian Armies.

The obverse features the bust of Victor Emmanuel III wearing a steel helmet, with the inscription "GVERRA PER L'VNITA D'ITALIA 1915-1918".

The reverse depicts a winged Victory standing on a shield supported by two soldiers, with the legend "CONIATA NEL BRONZE NEMICO" (minted from enemy bronze).
